What an amazing resource. This course is superbly well constructed. Pete explains things really well and your knowledge will grow through every section. The “Financial Foundations” course covers all the basics and after completing “Build Wealth” you’ll be confident that you can take control of your financial future.
I was an absolute beginner when it came to finances and planning for the future, but since following the Academy I have not only thoroughly enjoyed being part of it, but I’ve learned so much from Pete that it has enabled me to really start my financial planning for the future and understand investments.
The manner with which Pete approaches his explanations of the various subjects, which for me were “Financial Foundations and Build Wealth” made it so easy for me to follow and I am able to take so much away from each session. I would have no hesitation in recommending MeaningfulMoney Academy to anyone who wishes to master the basics of building wealth and planning for a comfortable retirement.
Words are not enough for how much this course has helped me understand retirement planning. I have learned enough to have confidence to plan a good retirement without needing a financial advisor to manage my investments, and feel confident that I understand how much I can spend. Well worth the initial investment!!
The Retirement Planning course was just what I needed to gain the confidence that my retirement plans was sensible and to go ahead. The Voyant software and critically the guidance on how to use it is genuinely priceless when trying to plan and understand the impact of the many decisions that need to be made at this stage of life. This is undoubtedly the best thing I ever signed up to and I still refer back to reinforce my knowledge from time to time.
MeaningfulAcademy is the second stage of financial planning after the free MeaningfulMoney education, taking you to the next level, teaching an integrated financial planning process, and providing training on the use of VoyantGo for financial modelling. Pete teaches complex subjects in a simple way, enabling me to take full control of my financial future and validate that I was in a good financial position to retire, including coping with the potential ups and downs of the financial markets. I then took the next step of MeaningfulCoaching to review my plan for the future, knowing full financial planning from Jacksons is available when I reach that stage in my life.
Excellent! Took me from complete beginner to someone who feels he has a good grasp of everything needed to get started and keep on moving forward towards retirement. It also provided a sound basis on which I can continue my research and learn more about the world of investing and pensions. Significantly, it also gave me important insights into the emotional aspects of approaching retirement. Pete’s strength, I think, compared with others who create content is that he has the human touch and, for me, it has helped me position my investment and retirement strategy within the context of the life I would like to live; and not just be thinking about how much money I will need or have (important though this is!).
This course will probably save me around £200k in fees over my lifetime. It has given me greater insight into my financial situation, the tools to plan ahead with VoyantGo, and confidence to make the right decision on when to retire. It enabled me to get more involved with my finances than I did when they were managed for me. The course has given me the knowledge, training, and access to use VoyantGo in detail. I have spent days playing around with various forecast scenarios, and because I entered the figures, I know they are accurate without having to trust a third-party advisor. This is so much better than relying solely on a one-hour review meeting, once a year, with an advisor. I will now know exactly what I can afford to spend in retirement, and how to select the right investments to provide both growth and security. Cannot recommend the retirement planning course enough! Thank you!
I came a bit late to this course as I had already retired, Having watched quite a few YouTube videos including Meaningful Money I was hooked on Pete’s style of delivery and keep it simple approach. Having made some decisions to take my tax free cash sum and get a five year annuity I still had another pot of money. I decided to invest in the Retirement Planning course. Should have done this much earlier. The benefit of hindsight is wonderful. But having done a first run through the course I’m confident that my decisions have been good so far. Yet to have a tinker with Voyant (not sure if I will gain any useful insights from doing so).
Bottom line. This is great course for building your knowledge. Money well spent. No regrets.
If in doubt try the FREE Financial Foundations to get a feel for Pete’s info delivery.
A great set of resources and access to a community of genuine and helpful people, and on top of that the only way I know to access voyant the best financial planning software. Thanks Pete !
“I’m only part of the way through, but this course has already gotten me in a far better financial situation. Couldn’t be happier with this course!”

Have been a member of MM academy retirement planning since its inception in 2021. The course contents, access to the Voyant financial planning & cash flow forecasting tools plus regular positive forum discussions with like minded colleagues made the initial course fee and annual Voyant subscription a massively worthwhile investment. You really cannot get this level of financial education in any other manner for this kind of money. Fully recommend it to anyone thinking of joining.
“The course was chock-full of useful and helpful information to get out of debt and achieve goals.”
Fantastic free information. Very clear, information and actionable. Thank you!
A great resource. Really helped prepare me for early retirement. Pete showed me that I had “enough” to tell work where to go when they started messing around with my shifts.
I have taken all of Pete’s courses, and would suggest anyone would find any of these courses well worth their money.
Thanks Pete. From a very satisfied customer.
I have been a member of Meaningful Academy for several years and without doubt, it is the most understandable and straightforward way to plan and satisfy yourself that your family retirement is not just possible but will live up to the standards you have planned. If I had to summarise what being a member provides for us as a family, it is ‘reassurance’, reassurance that we are on the right path, that we don’t have to be afraid to live today whilst planning for tomorrow. Within Meaningful Academy you have have the ability to utilise professional software like Voyant Go which is worth every penny, with easy-to-understand videos and guidance from Pete within the retirement section of Meaningful Academy. Place on top of all that Pete and Roger’s podcast and happy days, you have the complete retirement toolbox for the future – thanks Pete and the team, it has made all the difference.
A very informative course – gave me lots to think about as i plan for my retrement. I changed my view on some things and the content helped me question my planning and evolve it. Voyant go is really interesting and worth playing with. With the course and VoyantGo this course has given me the confidence I needed to be positive in what I am doing – Thanks Pete and Meaningful Money!
There is not enough praise for the Academy and all the knowledge that Pete puts at our disposal. I’ve started this journey without paying any attention to my pension, or even understanding how the pensions work. I have since then built a strong foundation, and have been building wealth for a few years. My confidence in my retirement (financial) wellbeing has grew enormously, and I feel more in control than ever. Thank you!
Following divorce my finances and retirement plans were in a total mess. Going back to basics, reminding myself of Financial Foundations and stepping through Retirement planning means that I now have a plan to put myself on-track for a reasonable retirement. Given the quality of the material and the ongoing support that the meaningful brand provides I am now considering the meaningfulcoaching service. Thank you for all that you do and keep up the good work.
“Outstanding course, budgeting often is difficult for many individuals especially those experiencing financial difficulties.”
When I initially completed the Retirement Planning course, it gave me the knowledge and conviction to take the decision to retire early. Subsequently it has enabled and empowered me to make financial decisions with confidence. The course is very well structured and taught in a way such that it is easily understandable. I learnt many new concepts which I never knew before, such as Cashflow Ladder. This course also enables you to join a community of like minded people and share knowledge and experience. This was the best money I have ever spent.
I really enjoyed and found the course very informative. The access to voyant and lessons on how to use it have really help me create a plan I’m happy with and feel is achievable. A big thank you to Pete and the team.
Absolutely brilliant resource. What Pete and the team do is life changing. I found the podcast in 2020 and started following with intent 😀. The Academy and access to Voyant helped me formulate a solid plan. Over 4 years I’ve gained a huge amount of confidence and understanding and feel much more in control of my investments and plans for retirement. There is no magic formula here, I get out what I put in. What Pete and the team have built is a supportive environment to enable a journey of self discovery. Brilliant 👏
It’s nearly been 12 months since I joined the academy (Retirement Planning), it’s certainly been a very cost effective way to plan for my future in both planning and setting my retirement date.
The academy course and voyant has given me the confidence to make the leap and set my date to exit the workplace! I can know begin my world travel journey with the knowledge that we are financially set for the spring of my retirement journey.
I would certainly recommend the course to anyone who has a good understanding of what the need to live a comfortable retirement.
I found meaningful academy as I was beginning to plan my transition to retirement, a few years before retirement. I had tried and failed to find an IFA who would work WITH me rather than just taking over and charging me a fortune. Meaningful academy was exactly what I needed to have the competence and the confidence to go it alone. Access to the voyant planning software was critical for me to be able to model my retirement and understand what would happen under various circumstances. The online training that Pete provides was what I needed to be sure that I was using the tool properly and building a resilient portfolio.
A must for all people looking to ways to manage their funds and planning for their future.
I wish i had this course in my younger days, it would have prepared me in a much better state and planning ahead is the key to my success. Thx Pete for the great Tutorials and will be planning to sign up for other courses soon.
Meaningful Academy is such a beneficial financial learning resource. It’s given me the confidence to look, evaluate and plan my financial future in the most positive way. Thanks Pete and team, I’m sure I’m just one of many happy and better educated customers.
This course, plus the associated groups that lead off of being a member, plus the additional interactions in the social media postings, have been by far the most useful as I have been navigating my journey to retirement. I would go as far as to say I am a complete advocate for this way of planning retirement options, and an unofficial ambassador having recommended the course far and wide. Brilliant work and I look forward to new content.
Loving the course material and learning Voyant Go. I have insights on my finances in retirement I didn’t think possible without paying for professional advice.
“Bought this course yesterday and have smashed through all the videos!! Looking forward to sitting down on the weekend and putting all into practice. The tutor is very knowledgeable and has provided good material that will help plan the perfect budget, I was recommended this course by a friend and would recommend it to anyone else looking to get a hold of their finances.”

Pete has put a lot of time and effort in building a step by step easy to navigate system to put us in control of our finances at different life stages. Each section can be used alone or can build on each other to build your knowledge. Money and finance can be very draughting and complicated, but Pete cuts through the jargon and applies his extensive knowledge to helping us take control of our future.
So glad that I found Pete’s podcasts and videos, all of which were given freely with no hidden costs. The thought provoking and brilliant content led me to sign up for Meaningful Academy (Retirement). A superb series of courses that helped me to understand my financial situation and resolve any questions I had about how to retire earlier and maintain confidence in my finances forever.
Just binged the foundations course and enjoyed every lesson. It came at just the right time too when I was arranging insurance. The lessons really helped me prioritise and work out what I wanted the cover to do. Next step is to open a private pension! Thank you very much, Pete, for all you do. Love the YouTube channel and the podcast too!
Anyone who is serious about taking control of their finances and building a platform for a secure future should join the Meaningful Academy. The Retirement Wealth Course is brilliant. Totally worth the money. And some! It takes you into more depth than you can get just from watching Pete’s (fab) videos and listening to his podcasts. The content, plus the access to the powerful VoyantGo software has allowed me to create my own detailed retirement pre plan and I am feeling a lot more financially organised and prepared. Thanks Pete. You are doing some really meaningful work. Cheers. Michael
