Have been a member of MM academy retirement planning since its inception in 2021. The course contents, access to the Voyant financial planning & cash flow forecasting tools plus regular positive forum discussions with like minded colleagues made the initial course fee and annual Voyant subscription a massively worthwhile investment. You really cannot get this level of financial education in any other manner for this kind of money. Fully recommend it to anyone thinking of joining.
There is not enough praise for the Academy and all the knowledge that Pete puts at our disposal. I've started this journey without paying any attention to my pension, or even understanding how the pensions work. I have since then built a strong foundation, and have been building wealth for a few years. What an amazing resource. This course is superbly well constructed. Pete explains things really well and your knowledge will grow through every section. The “Financial Foundations” course covers all the basics and after completing “Build Wealth” you'll be confident that you can take control of your financial future.
Pete has put a lot of time and effort in building a step by step easy to navigate system to put us in control of our finances at different life stages. Each section can be used alone or can build on each other to build your knowledge. Money and finance can be very draughting and complicated, but Pete cuts through the jargon and applies his extensive knowledge to helping us take control of our future.
The Retirement Planning course was just what I needed to gain the confidence that my retirement plans was sensible and to go ahead. The Voyant software and critically the guidance on how to use it is genuinely priceless when trying to plan and understand the impact of the many decisions that need to be made at this stage of life. This is undoubtedly the best thing I ever signed up to and I still refer back to reinforce my knowledge from time to time.
This course, plus the associated groups that lead off of being a member, plus the additional interactions in the social media postings, have been by far the most useful as I have been navigating my journey to retirement. I would go as far as to say I am a complete advocate for this way of planning retirement options, and an unofficial ambassador having recommended the course far and wide. Brilliant work and I look forward to new content.

Just binged the foundations course and enjoyed every lesson. It came at just the right time too when I was arranging insurance. Excellent! Took me from complete beginner to someone who feels he has a good grasp of everything needed to get started and keep on moving forward towards retirement. It also provided a sound basis on which I can continue my research and learn more about the world of investing and pensions. Significantly, it also gave me important insights into the emotional aspects of approaching retirement. Pete's strength, I think, compared with others who create content is that he has the human touch and, for me, it has helped me position my investment and retirement strategy within the context of the life I would like to live; and not just be thinking about how much money I will need or have (important though this is!).
